‘Glory Days’ DVD Captures

I recently purchased a Glory Days DVD box set from Europe that contains all nine episodes of the short-lived series. For those who don’t know, ‘Glory Days’ was a horror/suspense show in which Emily starred that aired on the WB (now The CW) back in 2002. It was cancelled after a very short run, but that turned out to be a good thing for Emily (and us), as shortly after she found out the show had been cancelled, Emily was offered the role of Amy on ‘Everwood.’ Anyways, I made DVD captures of the opening title and the first 3 episodes and uploaded them to the gallery today. I’ll make screen captures of the remaining six episodes in the next few weeks.

011 x ‘Glory Days’ DVD Captures: Opening Credits
398 x ‘Glory Days’ DVD Captures: 1×01 Grim Ferrytale (Pilot)
120 x ‘Glory Days’ DVD Captures: 1×02 Devil Made Me Do It
442 x ‘Glory Days’ DVD Captures: 1×03 Miss Fortune Teller

Also, you’ll probably notice that I changed the layout in the gallery again. I wasn’t really digging the previous one, so I opted to go back to a more classic layout that’s similar in style to the one we had a while ago and better matches the color scheme of the main site. Hope you guys like it! 😉

Hey hey hey! 🙂 Good buy. I bought my “Glory Days” Box some years ago on ebay, because it wasn’t available on amazon anymore. I’m going to rerun that short show next time (to short the waiting time for season 5).

But I’ve got one question for you: the dvd set contains – as you said – all 9 episodes. But there are 10 episodes, it seems that the mysterious 10th episodes wasn’t broadcast. Is there any chance to ever see that episode?

Anyway it’s really shocking how young Emily is on GD, and that was only 1-2 years before Everwood. Oh, I have to watch it again. Thanks to Kevin Williamson (I’ll always owe him for that – and DC 😉 ) and Greg Berlanti (oh he was such a great helper for Emily’s career) she could became the great actress she is today. Just wanted to mention that. 🙂

I’m not sure if there actually is a tenth episode. According to some people the episode was written, but never filmed. Other people say it was filmed, but never aired. I don’t know which is true. I had heard a rumor that the episode aired in France, but I couldn’t confirm that. Either way, I’ve never been able to find a DVD set from anywhere that contains a tenth episode.
