I also have some exclusive stuff for you today from the PaleyFest Fall TV Preview Party that took place in L.A. on Saturday. But first, here is an excerpt of fun Revenge facts that TV Guide posted yesterday. These facts are quotes from Emily and Revenge executive producer Mike Kelley from the Paley event.

Suburgatory’s Jane Levy has an awesome life, Man Up! is not the Chris Moynihan show and that isn’t all of Emily VanCamp’s real body on the hot Revenge promo all over the country.

That’s just a sampling of the fun facts the casts and creative minds of Revenge, Suburgatory, Man Up! and Last Man Standing offered at Saturday’s Paley Center fall TV preview, which was moderated by TV Guide Magazine’s Michael Schneider. A few more:

7. “That was a Brothers & Sisters photo that was superimposed,” Revenge star VanCamp says of the sexy promo shot of her in a black dress that ends in thorns. “I couldn’t figure out that picture. The body is me because I recognized my hands because my hands do a weird thing, but then it was a superimposed head and I was like, ‘My boobs aren’t that big.’ I was like, ‘What is this?'”

4. “She’s always played the girl next door,” Revenge creator Mike Kelley said, recalling Emily VanCamp’s past roles on Brothers & Sisters and Everwood. She now plays the anti-heroine of ABC’s modern-day take on The Count of Monte Cristo, seeking revenge on the rich sycophants who destroyed her father’s life.

1. “It’s a great soap opera,” Kelley said of Revenge, not shying away from the stigma of the genre in a prime-time series. “I think it’s missing on the landscape right now. We’re in a different time in our culture, but we love to see people eat it. It’s a soap opera with a lot of heart and a lot of stakes.”

Revenge premieres Wednesday, Sept 21 at 10/9c

Now, curious about that superimposed quote? 😉 Don’t worry, we got you covered! A fellow Emily fan attended the Paley event this past weekend and has very graciously allowed us to post her pictures and videos on the site. Her name is Claudia Ciuffo and she is a journalist that runs the Portuguese Hollywood Tumblr, Hollywood é Acqui. If you’re on Twitter, be sure to send her some love! Her handle is @claudiaciuffo! And to Claudia – thank you SO much again for giving us the permission to post these! You rock!!!

Those are the pictures (click the thumbnails to see them at the gallery) now here is the video she captured from the event. This is not the full panel but we are very lucky that Claudia sent this to us and I am happy to share this with you guys now. It includes that superimposed quote from above so be sure to watch! 😉

Every day new stuff, I was hoping for that, now I can’t almost believe it! 😀 I was wondering if we’d ever get a video of this conference, but usually there are non, I’m really glad we got the video. Thanks for all the updates, Shirphie, and of course thank you Claudia Ciuffo for the video, I’ll watch it later, can’t wait! 🙂

Thanks again for this great video, I now watched it and of course loved it. I had troubles understanding everything (but I got most, don’t worry), several laughs I didn’t get, but besides that it was very interesting. This show has something special to it, when I first heard about it, I was not sure if it would work, was it like Dexter, or like Alias, or what, but the more infos we get (and we get a ton of appetizers almost daily), the more excited I am about the show! It’s so great, that it’s not just Revenge, it’s a character show also (I am a fan of a lot of those shows!), there is so much potential to make the best out of this more short story. I especially liked how Emily explained the relationships with the 3 guys, Daniel, Jack and Nolan, all 3 different, but nice guys, all have two sides, Nolan knows the secret and a lot about the real Emily, Jack knows her from years ago, but doesn’t know that it’s her and Daniel also doesn’t know what’s she planning, Emily tries to use him, but finds out that he is more than just the “product” of Victoria and Conrad (and who wouldn’t expect that son to be evil or at least be the bad boy he is?), that’s also so interesting. Especially the one thing that is missing (but it’s obvious): If you hurt people, you hurt people around them! So if she hurts Victoria, that will affect her children as well. And in the middle of all this there is beautiful Emily VC (not to confuse her with the character ^^), now my expectations are really high, I hope that the audience also likes and watches the show, it can be the next LOST, they only need to add something like the hatch and a spooky monster. 😀 God, that woman is awesome, you can see that she’s having fun talking about “her” show, it was a bit sad that her best character is Amy Abbott, I don’t think any fan of her would argue that, but now I think there could be another candidate.

I have to say it again, it was THE BEST decision of her to leave B&S after season 4 (because her character is almost nothing compared to Emily Thorne after one episode!), that woman has all the luck in the world, from one short Glory Days season to a last minute cancellation of Everwood to Brothers & Sisters (yes, she should take revenge on the Walkers or better the writers who dewalkered her ^^ – woah, I knew it was only 2 days, but the same day B&S cancelled and Revenge’s green light? Now I’m a believer ^^) and back to ABC just one year later.

Sorry for writing such a long story, I hope I didn’t forget anything, or made this lovely website crash. ^^
