Season two of ‘Revenge’ is set to be released on DVD on August 20th and ABC has provided a peek at some of the special features. Check out a sneak peek of the blooper reel below.

Emily VanCamp Previews Rebooted ‘Revenge’

After a lackluster second season, Revenge is going back to its roots for season three, according to star Emily VanCamp. That involves refocusing on the original cast, something that will happen without show creator Mike Kelley, who left the ABC drama after season two (writer Sunil Nayar is taking the reins this year).

ETonline caught up with VanCamp at ABC’s Television Critics Association Press Tour All-Star Party on August 4 to talk find out what this regime change means for Revenge, how the show will go back to its roots in season three and why the first thing you’ll see this year is Emily floating in a pool of blood.

ETonline: What’s the showrunner transition been like for you?
Emily VanCamp: It’s definitely difficult. I love Mike and thought what he was fighting for was definitely something that should have been addressed. I believe Revenge can only sustain a certain amount of episodes per season, so to fight for a fewer number of episodes per season was definitely a topic worth bringing up and I’m proud of him for fighting for it. Ultimately it didn’t turn out how he wanted, which is difficult, but we have Sunil, who is a wonderful writer. We also have an incredible team of writers. Obviously we love and miss Mike, but I’m excited about this season.

Emily, along with many of her ‘Revenge’ co-stars, attended ABC’s 2013 TCA party last night, where they mingled and talked with reporters about the upcoming third season of the show. Emily looked like her usual gorgeous self while donning a Calvin Klein dress and Christian Louboutin heels. Almost three hundred photos of Emily on the red carpet have been added to the gallery, and you can also check out a short video of Em walking the red carpet below.

Marvel must put something in the water, because “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” stars Emily VanCamp (Agent 13 / Sharon Carter), Anthony Mackie (Sam Wilson / The Falcon), and Frank Grillo (Brock Rumlow / Crossbones) were in rare form at Comic-Con on Saturday (July 20).

Sure, they were excited to talk about their characters and the movie, which has Captain America (Chris Evans) re-teaming with Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson) to save the world from dark doings in Washington, D.C. (and explosively, as we saw in the footage during Marvel’s Hall H this year), but they actually seemed more eager to give each other a really hard time.

All in good fun, of course.

What’s the first thing you want us to know about your characters in “Captain America: The Winter Soldier?” Emily?

Anthony Mackie: Right now. Do it. Say it.

Emily VanCamp: You guys are first on this one.

Frank Grillo: No. You go, girl.

VanCamp: Oh, come on! I don’t know.

Grillo: What’s the first thing you want them to know?

VanCamp: That… I can’t tell you anything.

Grillo: You can. They just told you you could say a few things.

VanCamp: Listen, I think it’s fair to say that everybody knows that I’m playing Agent 13, Sharon Carter. But the way in which we meet her, I think, will be very surprising.

Emily, along with most of the cast of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, attended Comic-Con in San Diego this weekend. Emily started her day off by signing autographs alongside her cast-mates and then took part in Marvel Studio’s panel, where she answered a few short questions about her role in the film as Agent 13. She wasn’t able to divulge much about her character apart from a few little tidbits, but she looked gorgeous as she did. I really love how she styled her hair. HQ pictures from the red carpet and panel have been added to the gallery. I’m sure there will be more to come, so check back soon. Emily and the cast of ‘Revenge’ returned to the set in Los Angeles this week to begin shooting the upcoming third season of the show. Some beautiful new photos of Emily walking around the set have been added to the gallery. ABC also released their official fall schedule earlier this week, wherein it was revealed that the third season of ‘Revenge’ will premiere on Sunday, September 29th at it’s usually time of 9/8c.

The first official teaser poster for ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ was released last week by Marvel. You can check out an HQ version of the poster in the gallery. Emily will also be attending Comic-Con today for a Captain America 2 signing and live panel.
