I’ve got a lot of little things to update on today. First of all, Emily will be featured on the cover of Flare’s March issue! For those who don’t know, “Flare” is a Canadian fashion magazine. The issue should be out on news stands within the next week or so. Until then, you can read a short article below that features some quotes from her interview in the mag. Also, I added two new stills from the next new episode of ‘Revenge’ to the gallery. And lastly, I replaced one of the pics from the recent Entertainment Weekly photo shoot with a better quality version and added two new outtakes.
Revenge’s Emily VanCamp Explains What She’s Looking for in a Man
By: Kristin BoehmShe may be headed for the altar on her hit show Revenge, but Emily VanCamp, who plays Emily Thorne (and swears she is nothing like her character), is still looking for “the one” in real life.
Most recently connected to Vampire Diaries star Joseph Morgan, VanCamp tells Canada’s Flare magazine distance is to blame for their breakup.
“I’m working non-stop in L.A., he’s working in Atlanta. It kind of makes it impossible,” she says in the March cover story. “It doesn’t take away from the love that two people have, and I think he’s extraordinary.”
Another extraordinary thing: Juggling two suitors on Revenge – humble Jack (Nick Wechsler) and current fiancé, uber-rich Daniel Grayson (Josh Bowman) – but that doesn’t mean life imitates art for VanCamp.
“It’s all about making me laugh. I can be quite serious sometimes so laughing is key,” she says of what she looks for in the perfect boyfriend. “I think it’s important to be with a guy who has a strong sense of integrity. That’s how I was raised, and that’s something I look for. And humility. I think people who lack humility are really annoying.”
More annoying than meddling mother-in-law Victoria Grayson (Madeleine Stowe)? There are a pair of, according to Entertainment Weekly, jaw-dropping episodes in February we’ll just have to wait and see!
Great update, Grey! 🙂 I love it that Emily hits magazine covers now. I honestly was thinking that the distance and both Emily and Joseph shooting a tv show was the reason for the breakup. It’s sad but had to be. Em has a great attitude about relationships and people, nice.
