I made a quick update to the gallery today. The update includes a brand new magazine scan from Us Weekly and some new event photos from 2007. The scan is from the Us/Dove ’20 questions’ ad campaign. FYI, in case you missed the last update, the videos of her interview are currently available on our YouTube page. As for the event photos, they aren’t technically new, since they’re from 2007, but I hadn’t seen them featured anywhere before. So, in that sense, they’re ‘new.’ Enjoy!
Secondly, I added two new videos to our YouTube page. The first is from an appearance on a Fox L.A. morning show from a couple months ago. It’s a really cute interview in which Emily bonds with host Jillian Barberie over being Canadian. The second is an exclusive web interview in which Emily talks about all kinds of stuff, like Brothers & Sisters, Everwood, and even her favorite restaurant and place to shop in L.A.

First order of business in today’s update is to announce the creation of the official EVC Online Youtube page. There’s only one vid up right now, a brief interview with Em at the Kenneth Cole event, but hopefully I’ll be able to upload some more soon. If you have a YouTube account (who doesn’t these days?), feel free to leave a friendly comment or even subscribe to our vids. To visit the page click here.
Second order of business is to let you guys know that IMDB has added a listing for Emily’s new movie, ‘Norman.’ There’s not really any info about the project that wasn’t already reported here except for the name of Emily’s character…Emily. Emily Parrish to be exact. To check it out, click here.
Lastly, I updated the gallery with some event photos from 2007 and 2006. Most are HQ and a few of the events we didn’t have featured in the gallery until now.

Threesome enroll for ‘Norman’ drama
By Gregg Goldstein and Borys Kit
Emily VanCamp, Dan Byrd and Adam Goldberg are starring in the indie coming-of-age drama “Norman.”
Byrd plays the title character, a darkly comic teen who deals with his problems by pretending to be dying of cancer. The lie complicates relationships between him and his new high school girlfriend (VanCamp) and between him and his teacher (Goldberg).
Jonathan Segal is directing the feature, which is shooting in Spokane, Wash. Dan Keston and Segal are producing.

‘Norman’ Actors Might Catch Your Eye
by Jim Kershner
North by Northwest’s latest film shoot, “Norman,” a drama with elements of dark comedy, is now under way in Spokane. While it doesn’t have any household names, you might recognize a few of the lead actors:
Adam Goldberg, who played Pvt. Mellish in “Saving Private Ryan,” Sol in “A Beautiful Mind” and Mike Newhouse in “Dazed and Confused.” He also has been in “Friends,” as Eddie Menuek, and “Entourage,” as Nick Rubenstein.
Emily VanCamp, who starred as Rebecca Harper in the TV series “Brothers & Sisters” and as Amy Abbott in “Everwood.” She has also appeared in “The Ring Two.”
Dan Byrd, who was in “The Hills Have Eyes” and “Lonely Hearts,” as well as such TV series as “Boston Legal,” and “CSI.”
“Norman” is about a high school loner who gets caught in a web of lies and in a romantic entanglement with a charismatic girl. Jonathan Segal directs. The movie will be filmed at various indoor and outdoor locations in Spokane through the end of June, said North by Northwest head Rich Cowan.
I added some rare screencaps of a very young Emily to the gallery today. They’re from a promotional video I found for a Canadian acting school that Emily apparently attended back in 2001. If my calculations are correct, she’s about 14-15 years old in these pics. She’s definitely grown up quite a lot since then, though somehow managed to remain just as cute. Oh, and yes, she’s singing in those last few pics…
I added a brand new photoshoot to the gallery today. Unfortunately the pictures are tagged, and for that I apologize. I couldn’t find them untagged. But tagged pics are better than no pics at all, right? FYI, the pictures are outtakes from the recent photoshoot with Dave Annable done for Entertainment Weekly. You can view all 32 of them in the gallery. Enjoy!
I made another huge update to the gallery today of mostly HQ pictures from some more various 2007 events. Over 350 pictures total! Most are brand new to the gallery, but just like last time, some have replaced pictures we had available only in MQ. FYI, new outtakes from the recent ‘Entertainment Weekly’ photoshoot with Dave Annable are coming soon. So stayed tuned.
