Some really awesome news has hit the web today. According to a report by Deadline, Emily is in talks to play the female lead in the upcoming ‘Captain America’ sequel! The movie, titled ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier,’ is slated to be released in April 2014. There’s no official word yet on exactly what character she will be playing, but rumor has it she’ll be playing Sharon Carter. This will be Emily’s first big budget Hollywood film and I don’t know about you guys, but I’m super excited and happy for her.
Oh yes. I couldn’t believe the news but then some other sources started to report it. Hope it is true. Usually a “Marvel” movie isn’t something I’d enjoy but with Emily in it, I’ll watch it of course and it be fun to see her in a totally different role and be seen by almost the entire world. It’s a long way but we also got Revenge. Seems Emily did all the right choices, to leave B&S early, to get the role on Revenge was a great move!
